In the ROBA-DS, several FEM-optimized disk packs are used as flexible elements, which are alternately bolted to the input and output sides. It is an extremely robust high performance coupling which - like all shaft couplings made by mayr - is absolutely backlash-free and at the same time features high torsional rigidity.
